Take your acting beyond the script by learning how movement shapes character, storytelling, and stage presence. In Stage Movement, instructor Katelyn May helps students develop the physical tools needed to create compelling performances. Through movement exercises, ensemble work, theatre games, and scene exploration, students will build body awareness, improve posture and stage presence, strengthen nonverbal communication, and learn how intentional movement can bring a character to life.
Designed for students in grades 6–12, this class challenges performers to become more confident, expressive, and physically connected to their work on stage. Whether you're preparing for auditions, school productions, or simply want to grow as an actor, Stage Movement provides practical skills that will benefit every performance.
