Intro to Acting (6th-8th grade)

Whether you're stepping onto the stage for the first time or looking to strengthen your acting foundation, Intro to Acting is the perfect place to begin. Instructor Emma Sorenson introduces students to the essential skills of performance through engaging theatre games, improvisation, scene work, and creative exercises.

Students will explore character development, voice, movement, stage presence, and the art of storytelling while building confidence and learning to work collaboratively with an ensemble. In a fun, supportive environment, performers will develop the tools to make authentic choices on stage, connect with an audience, and bring characters to life. No previous acting experience is required—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to step into the spotlight.
